Photo by Marsha MacColl, who personally delivered our socks in March 2007. Marsha is on the board of Afghans 4 Tomorrow, and we made a contribution to her organization in appreciation for allowing us to use this photo.

Postcard featuring little girl in Kabul

This little girl in Kabul is wearing a cap knitted by volunteer Missy McIver of South Carolina. The photo was taken by Maryanne Havryluck of Airline Ambassadors on her December 2002 visit that included distributing our handmade gifts as part of her humanitarian work to bring relief and joy to children in Afghanistan. We have made a contribution to the children's program where this little girl received her hat.

Postcard featuring Afghan Women spinning wool

Our image of women spinning wool was taken by Afghan-American Rahima Haya in October 2003 during her second trip to her homeland since the fall of the Taliban. The women are spinning wool on drop spindles. As a token of appreciation, we have provided an honorarium to the spinner featured in our photo.
